A large IT/Technology company based in Slough are actively seeking a Assistant Financial Controller to join their team on a permanent basis, due to excellent business performance and an internal promotion, our client are seeking a newly qualified accountant ACA within practice.

Client Details

My client are a large IT/Technology business that has had a restructure within Finance. Due to an internal promotion the current assistant financial controller has moved within the group and now the business has a need to bring in a newly qualified assistant financial controller.

Description

As Assistant Financial Controller you will be responsible for owning your own high profile P&Ls, make commentary on variances and calculate bank and balance sheet reconciliations. You will ultimately have your own remit to specialise in and will be a specialist in your field. You will partner with non finance stakeholders and talk finance to them to ensure they understand certain aspects of the P&L.

Profile

This would suit a newly qualified ACA accountant that has qualified within practice. This would be either your first or second move after qualification. You will have aspirations to get into a commercial role as you will be exposed to business partnering with non finance stakeholders in this position.
