This role will be working within a luxury retail company based a 10 minute walk from Oxford Circus station. This role will working within a team of 6 in finance in open-plan and lively offices.
Your new role
This company is looking for a french-speaking Finance Assistant to join their team of 7 in finance. Candidates who apply for the role must be fluent in French, you will not be considered otherwise.This role will be reporting to the Financial Controller and the key duties include:
- Review and verify invoices, credit notes and payment requests
- Sort, code, enter and match invoices
- research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
- Authorising invoices
- Prepare payment requests
- Set invoices up for payment on banking systems
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
- Assisting with the monthly management accounts package
- Create payment forecasts
- Cashflow forecasts
- Develop accounts payable procedures, processes and controls
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you must have previous experience working within a high volume Finance Assistant role and MUST be fluent in French. Ideally candidates will have previous experience using an ERP system, such as SAP. Candidates who are bright and out-going will fit within this lively team.
