Financial Controller

We are working with our client to recruit for a Financial Controller on a permanent basis.

They are looking for someone to support and take responsibility for the finance department, with regards to the day to day administration of the accounting function. Your new role
As a Financial Controller, you will have a series of roles and responsibilities to adhere to:

• Be primarily responsible for the Financial Control activities necessary for the successful running of the business.
• Supervise the finance team on a day to day basis, coordinating work load as required
• Sign off the work of the junior staff members where necessary to ensure information is accurate
• Liaise with other departments and project teams to implement and test new systems and procedures
• Communicate with members and stakeholders as required
• Report monthly figures and statistics on primary functions to the head of finance
• Liaise with the Management Team, Team Leaders/ Supervisors to ensure best practice is adhered to whilst undertaking interdepartmental tasks
• Maintain accurate posting of transactions on the database and accounts systems
• Look at the primary functions of the role with a view of developing and improving them to increase the overall efficiency.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed at applying for this role you will need to be qualified or part-qualified in ACCA/ CIMA or ACA. You will also need to be confident in completing the tasks stated above.

What you'll get in return
In return for this role you will receive a salary up to £41,000 per annum depending on your experience. You will also receive a substantial amount of holiday and any other company benefits once employed.
