Your new company
Your new company is a leading service provider based in Barnoldswick, near Colne in Lancashire. This business is well known for managing a number of established brands, who's marker leading brands offer over 100 years of combined experience. Due to expansion and a number of new acquisitions, the business are now seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their Financial Planning and Analysis team on a permanent and full time basis.

Your new role
Your new role within this FP&A team, will involve you supporting the team with the production and reporting of key KPIs for revenues and costs on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Your day to day role will involve daily and weekly sales reporting, producing reports for all brands of the business, monthly reconciliations, reporting preparation and maintenance to assist with various reports such as volume & revenue, weekly volume summary, P&L and general ledger accounts. You will also be responsible for the cost budget packs, payroll journals, P&L retrieve and staff reporting. This is a full time role, working between Monday and Friday 9am-5pm.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you should be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role or within a fast-paced finance environment. You should have advanced Excel spreadsheet skills (vlookups, pivot tables etc) alongside a strong understanding of key accounting principles.
You will be a self-motivated, confident and polite individual with the ability to work well under tight time-frames and enjoy working as part of a team.
