Interim Directorate Accountant
Your new organisation
Our client is a large public sector organisation established for over a decade with a multi million pound annual budget. They provide primary, community, hospital and mental health services to almost 300,000 people living in South East Wales. They boast over 8,000 staff and are heavily focused on their health, well being and development. They are recruiting for a temporary Directorate Accountant following a recent divisional change.
Your new role
Based just outside of Cardiff, you will have a major contribution to budget setting, financial performance monitoring, provision of financial advice and completion of final accounts and returns, involving close liaison with - and providing assistance and advice to - Line Managers, Directorate and Divisional managers, Directors and other budget holders.
What you'll need to succeed
As a part/fully qualified accountant, you will use your excellent Planning and Organisational skills to ensure the accurate and timely preparation, review, reporting and distribution of the allocated Directorates' monthly/year end financial performance and supporting schedules. Reporting material issues to the relevant Directorates/divisions and Finance Manager.
