A leading organisation based in central Norwich is looking to recruit a Financial Accountant due to company growth.

Your new role
As the Financial Accountant, you will be expected to prepare, develop and analyse key financial information. With support from the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for a variety of reporting requirements consisting of statutory accounts, tax, vat submissions as well as management accounts and budgeting. You will improve the financial controls of the business, helping safeguard company assets.

Main responsibilities of this role include:

• Leading the general ledger function, month-end close process, account reconciliations, manual journal entries, variance analysis, review balance sheet reconciliations
• Monthly reporting covering P&L and working capital performances
• Preparation of monthly management accounts to group finance
• Supporting the quarterly production of the business performance review pack
• Annual statutory reporting for the subsidiary
• Preparation of Corporation Tax returns
• Production and consolidation of short term forecasts
• Contribute to medium and long-term business planning and forecasts
• Preparing business plans and base cases for initiatives and projects, conduct initiative tracking and post-implementation reviews
• Support the year end audit and assist in dealing with audit queries

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified Accountant with previous experience with ERP experience (K8, Microsoft Dynamics or SAP preferred) and ability to produce financial reports. You will be able to deal with external and internal customers and possess strong IT skills and with a strong set of skills on Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
