Finance Business Partner, Wolverhampton £60-£70K Bonus Benefits Seymour John are working with an established Wolverhampton business to recruit a Finance Business Partner. The business is the clear market leader and an independent, autonomous subsidiary of a large international group. This is an incredibly dynamic business with significant growth potential. The Opportunity The Finance Business Partner will work closely with the senior management team at board level, creating a real and active partnership with both operations and management. The role is to provide 'real time' support and analysis, to be a trusted adviser and to add value that will assist in decision making. Critical to success is an ability to communicate key messages, to understand the key performance drivers and deliver the information in a clear and user-friendly manner. The role will require travel across the UK and internationally.

Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of the P&L and balance sheet of a key business unit
• Review and present numbers to senior management (MD and CFO)
• Stakeholder management across all levels and departments of the business
• Influence day to day decisions, shaping strategy and the direction of the business
• Act as the interface or 'translator' between finance and operations
• Commercially aware, understanding and anticipating the needs of both operations and management
• Strong core business skills including influencing, stakeholder management and presentation skills
• Assist senior management in problem solving and ensuring best practice
• Interpret data, order and assess its value and then present the findings to the relevant stakeholders concisely Key Skills:
• Qualified Accountant (ACMA, ACA, ACCA)
• Previous experience working in a stakeholder-facing commercial finance role, preferably as a business partner
• Experience in the creation of Commercial & Financial information from ERP systems
• Intermediate or above Excel user
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to influence and build rapport
