The Opportunity The Senior Business Analyst will be part of a team responsible for the analysis of business performance, forecasting and inventory management for 8 sites in the UK, and across EMEA. This position will specifically be responsible for two European sites reporting into the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis - EMEA and business partnering with the management teams for the region. This is an opportunity for someone to focus purely on the added value commercial finance elements of a business. Key Deliverables Supporting the Operations and Sales Directors, ensuring a true value adding service is provided. Spotting opportunities across the business to make efficiencies and drive commercial value. Development of presentations for the management team and US parent company board of directors. Prepare monthly Management Discussion & Analysis (MD&A) of the results for the European sites. Preparation and communication of management information including manufacturing and cost variances. Assist with critical components of monthly group reporting including MD&A's. Assist with monthly & quarterly forecasts and annual budgets. Product and customer profitability analysis. Support the commercial teams with customer margin analysis and raw material cost increase push through. Support operations with product costs and inventory management. Analysis and commentary on periodic reporting. Acquisition support where required. Business modelling. Presence in operational reviews. Person Specification Essential A Fully qualified Accountant - CIMA/ACCA/ACA Standard Costing knowledge. A knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
