Risk & Compliance Manager - London. A well-established multinational consultancy is looking for an articulate Risk & Compliance Manager to join its expanding team on an initial 7 month Fixed-Term contract to cover maternity leave. In order to be suitable for this newly created role you must be an accomplished compliance professional, with consummate communication skills and a good understanding of both ISO compliance, data privacy legislation (GDPR) and corporate governance. Reporting directly to the Head of Risk & Compliance you will play a key role in ensuring that the organisation adheres to relevant legislation and maintains its ISO accreditation. You will engage with key stakeholders and deliver training across a range of risk and compliance areas. Proven experience of managing an internal audit programme would be highly advantageous to your application as would previous experience in the legal, insurance and/or financial services sectors. Key responsibilities will include: - Working closely with the legal team to ensure that policies and procedures are aligned with legal obligations (e.g. bribery and corruption, modern slavery, data protection) - Manage the global internal audit schedule, identifying areas of noncompliance and ensuring that corrective actions are implemented within an acceptable timeframe - Conduct risk assessments and maintain ISO accreditation: including ISO 9001 (quality management), OHSAS 18001 (health & safety) and ISO 14001 (environmental management) - Liaise with certification bodies to coordinate external certification audits This is an outstanding opportunity for a personable Risk & Compliance Manager to join a business that offers a clearly defined career path and excellent benefits.
