Responsibilities:
Business partnering responsibility across several key accounts, which will include: Supporting the account manager at customer meetings Analysing profitability and identifying opportunities to improve profitability performance Preparing pricing for potential new customers, and undertaking sign off sessions with people at the relevant authority level (including Exec) Supporting contract production and implementation of finance processes for new business wins Being aware of contractual triggers and ensuring that price reviews are undertaken at appropriate times Producing reliable forecasts and budgets Highlighting any risks and opportunities that exist on accounts Any ad-hoc financial support that is required Month end activity including: Managing revenue deferrals to ensure that we have appropriate balance sheet provisions Ensuring appropriate accruals are made Undertaking analysis of actual results vs budget and forecasts Preparing reports for distribution to the commercial team Supporting the finance manager and analyst with their month end activities Key requirements: Qualified accountant, either CIMA, ACCA or ACA with at least 2 years relevant experience in a commercially focussed finance team Ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, particularly with non-finance colleagues. Will need to be confident in dealing with people across all levels of the business.
