A rare opportunity to join an expanding Inhouse tax team as they look to welcome a Tax Accountant to their business in Newcastle. We are looking for a Qualified Accountant and or Chartered Tax Advisor with an understanding of both corporate tax compliance and statutory accounting in accordance with UK GAAP, FRS102 and IFRS. Your role will combine both corporate tax compliance matters with some interesting and challenging corporate tax advisory projects including M&A work. The opportunity is diverse and will never leave you bored, whether it be preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns, group reporting of tax accounts, statutory accounts review, R&D tax, Capital Allowances, or tax strategy in line with Transfer Pricing, there is plenty to learn and be involved in. The desired candidate will be working in either Industry or public practice, with a good working knowledge of corporate tax and at the very least an understanding of tax accounting. You will get to work with a number of different departments within the business as well as external individuals so we are looking for someone with strong communication skills who is well organised and able to work to tight deadlines at times.
