This specialist service and consultancy business has an urgent requirement for a Head of Finance on an interim basis until the end of the year. The position will report directly into the UK MD and will involve managing the finance team and group reporting requirements. The business currently has a turnover of circa £25m and works with a range of blue chip customers providing bespoke project based solutions on behalf of their parent company based in Europe. Candidates with experience of project accounting, joint ventures, bids and tendering would therefore be of particular interest. The main responsibilities of this Interim Head of Finance position will be: Supervising a team of transactional and part qualified staff Managing the production of all financial data, budgets, forecasts and monthly accounts Prepare reports for UK management and group finance Supporting group global ERP implementation Direct support to MD and other business teams Bid proposal, project financial review, financial reporting, etc Direct liaison with other functions as necessary: HR, Quality, Technical, Commercial, All financial and regulatory compliance, including audits, taxation (VAT, corporate, employment, etc) Management of banking relationship and cash planning and forecasting; including group cashflow/forecasting reporting The role is available for an immediate start and the ideal candidate must be qualified with experience at Financial Controller, Head of Finance level ideally gained from a UK division of a global / European owned company.
