Lucid Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a company who is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant based in Chepstow. Roles and Responsibilities To maintain all ledgers in order to produce the monthly Management Accounts. To match all purchase invoices to purchase orders prior to issuing to the relevant person for authorisation. Prepare authorised monthly staff expense payment runs. Maintain excel spreadsheets to control expenditure posted via the Balance sheet (prepayments and accruals). To receive and process all invoice/credit note requests, creating new accounts when required, coding/costing accurately, ensuring correct narratives, mailing and filing office copy. Dealing with queries on a proactive basis and liaising with Sales & Conferencing to ensure prompt action. To post all monies received and paid out ensuring correct allocation. To provide general accounts assistance in the production of accounts. Requirements Computer literate Microsoft Office AAT (preferred but not essential) Ability to work as part of a team Produce accurate accounts to tight deadlines Communications - good written and oral to maintain good supplier/customer and inter departmental relations Flexible - prepared to assist other members of the team Trustworthy This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/86201261
