Your new company You will be part of the in-house VAT team for this international group and award winning business as an Indirect Tax Assistant. Your new role This is a VAT compliance role but there will be a lot of interaction with other areas of overall finance function of this business. You will be required to assist with the preparation of VAT returns. You will provide support to the customs process.You will provide ad-hoc VAT advice to other areas of the business. You will be required to submit monthly intrastat and EC sales list filings. You will be required to liaise with HM Revenue & Customs and overseas tax authorities. What you'll need to succeed A recognised tax or accountancy qualification would be desirable, Part or Fully Qualified. It is expected that you will have gained some experience in indirect taxes either in industry or from an accountancy firm. You will have the ability to research technically complex areas .You will be driven and proactive with excellent communication skills and will be a strong team player.
