This is a high-profile role within the group with excellent opportunities for development and to drive improvements and efficiencies in the finance team and across the business. The candidate must have a proven track record of developing a solid commercial understanding and working closely with and influencing operational and commercial teams, often to a senior level. JOB PURPOSE Working with key business stakeholders to drive business performance To act as the key Finance contact for Fleet related matters such as aircraft acquisitions, fleet sales and leasing by providing technical and commercial support. Ownership and delivery of the monthly and annual accounting and planning activities related to ownership costs and capex The role provides both current (actuals) and future performance analysis and gives guidance on Forecasts, Budgets and 5yr plans. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES Provides a true Business Partner framework to Fleet related operational teams ensuring that the business owners are supported with the right insight and information at all times. Strong business partnering with cross functional stakeholders including wider Finance team, Operations & commercial teams to ensure seamless communication and integrity of results and forecasts. Lead and develop team of three qualified accountants Budget and Outlook Setting. Monthly reporting and analysis. Ownership of 5yr Planning model Accounting technical support for ownership costs Providing monthly detailed analysis and insight into the costs which can be used to drive business performance and improve the cost base Driving continuous improvements in the operational and finance processes Demonstrates a good understanding of ownership costs Leads the team in developing a good understanding of ownership costs including the wider impact of decisions or delays Creation of budget pack for ownership costs and capex detailing variances for presentation to senior management and for fleet procurement. Responsible for the production of month end reporting packs and consolidated commentary for Ownership COMPETENCIES ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant with 3 years PQE Experience in managing a small team Experience of partnering and influencing operational stakeholders up to director level Strong both technically and commercially Enthusiastic and driven If this could be you or anyone in your network, please apply below or conversely email me on
