Interaction Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be working alongside a Wellingborough based Manufacturing organisation, assisting with the recruitment of an Accounts Assistant for their finance function. Reporting in to the Financial Accountant and working within a finance team of 4, duties for this role will include:
• Posting of invoices and reconciling statements on a monthly basis
• Posting information to the Cashbooks sales ledger
• Producing payment runs for suppliers
• Assisting at year end with the reconciliation of the general ledger
• Bank account, Balance Sheet and cashbook reconciliations
• Maintaining the fixed asset register and calculating depreciation
• Assisting with Payroll duties To be suitable for this position you will ideally have experience of performing similar transactional accounting duties within an accounting function. It may be that you are currently studying or have studied AAT or are moving on to ACCA or CIMA.
