A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Audit & Accounts Semi-senior looking to progress their career in the Central London office of a rapidly growing national accountancy firm. We are looking to recruit a candidateto perform a 75% Accounts, 25% Audit role. The successful candidate should be able to: -Prepareaccounts for limited companies -Prepare VAT returns and associated bookeeping -Preparemanagement accounts -Prepare management reports for clients to assist in client meetings and show value added from the firm -Experience in working in FCA sector is preferable but not necessary - Have the ability to work from incomplete records or computerised TB's - Be able to carry out complex bookkeeping work for clients. -Manageday to day client relationship and dealing with ad-hoc queries In addition to the above, the candidate require to: -Be graduate or studying towardsAAT/ACCA - Have an experience of working in accountancy practice or accounts department for at least 2 years. The experience has to be within a UK based organisation. - Have strong communication and client liaison skills This is a role which will suit somebody who enjoys the variety offered by a general practice firm dealing with the requirements of owner managed business as well as dealing with heavily regulated and listed entities. It is anticipated that progression to Manager will be achievable as the role develops over time. The successful applicant will benefit from working alongside the managers/directors, taking responsibility for specific clients as they are delegated.
