KCR Solutions are currently looking to recruit an accounts assistant for an excellent client in Newcastle. Salary - £22,000 to £25,000 Responsibilities Posting sales and purchase invoices Bank reconciliations Balance sheet reconciliation, including the reconciliation of supplier statements, intercompany recharges and balances Maintain deposits/sales commissions tracker for each development Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements including VAT returns Assist the Finance Manager in the production of statutory accounts Ensure company standards, policies and procedures are maintained Maintain a flexible approach in order to accommodate changing needs and growth of the department Any other ad-hoc tasks deemed reasonable of your role Knowledge and Experience Extensive sales and purchase ledger experience using Sage Line 50 A strong user of MS Excel Excellent communication skills both orally and written Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise Keen, enthusiastic, team player with a ca-do attitude and strong work ethic Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
