Interaction Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a global company based near Hatfield for a Compliance Officer to assist with the maintenance and monitoring of all aspects of the on-going Compliance activities within their UK HQ. The role is to ensure all regulatory and Corporate requirements are fulfilled, documented and communicated in a professional and supportive manner. Duties:
• Work closely with key stakeholders to enhance compliance awareness and support the development of procedures
• Provide support with application and compliance to all relevant company policies
• Administrate SAP Profiles and various Compliance training activities
• Assist with internal audits, the completion of various compliance spread sheets, check sheets and assessments
• Document, test and audit Internal Controls over ICFR Financial Reporting
• Conduct nationwide Fixed Asset audits (Overnight stays may be require)
• Help manage onsite Environmental Audits, maintain the branch ISO14001 accreditation and update documentation accordingly
• Apply any knowledge of Battery Reporting, WEEE Reporting, REACH and RoHS legislative obligations
• Upload and maintain policies and procedures on the intranet About you:
• Competent user of Microsoft packages (Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Analytical process documentation skills with excellent attention to detail
• Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills
• Experience of business process controls - essential
• Internal audit experience - advantageous
• Experience of Battery Reporting, WEEE Reporting, REACH and RoHS legislation and an understanding of JSOX - ideal Company benefits include:-
