Butler Rose is supporting an AIM listed fast growing business near Farnborough in their recruitment for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to be the contact for external/internal suppliers, payment of suppliers, posting of payments and receipts on Sage200, query resolution and general admin within accounts department. The Role: The role will be responsible for: Maintaining a good understanding of PL accounts. To include but not restricted to raising supplier payments, aged creditor reporting, supplier statement reconciliations, PL invoice query resolution, scanning and filing plus supporting the rest of the Accounts team when required - Holiday cover, busy periods etc. The Person: We are seeking someone with good knowledge of purchase ledger processes and accounts who has a good standard of IT skills being proficient in Excel and Word (and ideally Sage 200); the ability to plan their workload and to work with minimal supervision, good organisational and communication skills and an outgoing friendly personality with the ability to work within a small team and be an active team member.
