An experienced Assistant Accountant is required to join a successful, growing Group based in Doncaster. Our client is looking for a motivated and passionate accounts professional who can bring fresh ideas and is keen to learn and progress with a fast paced, growing Organisation. The Directors are heavily investing in the business and have ambitious plans for future expansion. They currently operate from multiple sites and are soon to be relocating into new, purpose built offices in a central business location in Doncaster. This is a newly created role working alongside the Financial Director and Managing Director as part of an established, long serving finance team. The successful candidate will work closely with the FD in taking the accounts function and business forward by putting in greater controls around financial reporting and by conducting regular in depth analysis of the business. The role will particularly appeal to an individual who enjoys a fast paced, rapidly evolving working environment where systems and procedures can be changed regularly to suit the needs of a forward thinking, small business. The main purpose of the role is in improving the quality of Management Information being produced and providing key support to the FD to enhance the influence the finance function has in all areas of the Organisation. Producing daily, weekly and monthly performance reporting Investigating costs in depth Producing Gross margin Costing reports Producing and analysing weekly and monthly P & L Payroll performance reporting There may also be the opportunity to get involved in a future ERP software implementation.
