Finance Manager - Tech Start-Up (Artificial Intelligence) The Client Harmonic are working exclusively with a Technology start-up looking to change the Education sector with an exciting Artificial Intelligence platform at the forefront of their business model. Having recently raised substantial investment from a leading Venture Capital fund (circa £10m) they are looking to accelerate their growth with the launch of several disruptive product lines. With an already expansive global footprint this is an opportunity to join an ambitious start-up as they embark on a rapid period of growth. The environment is creative and fun but very fast-paced. They are looking to find the highest calibre people/ talent to scale the business and this is anything but your typical 9-5 role. My client is based in one of London's best co-working spaces right on the door step of a food market, great bars and restaurants. There are also lots of office dogs The Role The Finance Manager will work with the CFO to grow the business. This role is incredibly broad and requires someone who wants to be involved in all elements of Finance and provide wide analysis in several different commercial areas. This is an opportunity to progress incredibly quickly as the business grows. The role: Business Partner with Operations, Tech and Marketing teams to support decision making and provide insightful analytics Establish FP&A processes Improve financial models Manage the day-to-day running of Finance including monthly close (drive automation to ensure this is as efficient as possible) Support continued process improvement across Finance and Operations Support the CFO with additional funding rounds Support the CFO with the development of international expansion strategies Provide market and competitor analysis Extensive ad-hoc projects as the business grows Required Experience: Excited by Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Love working in a fast-paced environment Passionate about Education & Technology Highly intelligent and adaptable Excellent Communication Skills Confident Engaging with multiple Non-Finance Stakeholders Preferred Backgrounds/ experience: Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) Offered Package: Up to £55,000 Very Generous Equity Package (flexible depending on experience) Start Date ASAP (can wait 3 months) Please get in touch at or give me a call on .
