Hays Accountancy & Finance are recruiting on behalf of their established Global client for a permanent Lead Accounts Payable individual based in Glenrothes. Salary is £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience + 34 days annual leave and highly competitive pension.

Your new role

You will be responsible for the full end to end Accounts Payable process for the company within the UK in a high volume and busy role. You will be responsible for maintaining excellent working relationships with customers, suppliers and internal and external stakeholders. You will drive process improvement within Accounts Payable, maintain and develop financial controls and bring high quality reporting to management to drive the AP strategy and direction. You will also get the opportunity to work with IT on an exciting project to drive continuous improvement, bringing efficiencies and bring on the implementation of a new system from manual to automated.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a highly experienced Accounts Payable individual who is comfortable running and completing the full end to end AP process. You will have strong supplier management and relationship building skills with suppliers and internal sales teams. You will be experienced with process improvement, driving to bring change to the AP function to constantly improve and evolve and be comfortable leading these changes. You will possess excellent I.T skills in particularly with Excel as regular reporting is required. You will be able to work autonomously and be able to make decisions for yourself.
