A market leading PR company based near Oxford Circus station are seeking an Accounts Assistant experienced in both accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to join their team of 5 on a 12 month fixed term contract.
The client is happy to consider people who want to work full-time or part-time. Part-time will be 4 full days per week with 1 day off (you cannot take Friday off).
Your new role
You will be responsible for overseeing the team's purchase and sales ledger activities. Duties surrounding the purchase ledger will include: coding and inputting invoices on Exchequer, supplier statement reconciliations, bank reconciliations, processing staff expenses, credit card reconciliations and dealing with supplier queries.
On the sales ledger side of things, key duties will include: raising retainer fees, credit control, uploading client invoices, billing third party expenses, chasing purchase orders and maintaining contract and billing details.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to apply for this role you MUST HAVE COVERED THE SALES LEDGER DUTIES. Please do not apply if you cannot perform the duties listed above within the sales ledger.
You must be an outgoing and sociable individual who likes talking to different people. You must also be an organised individual who can work in a logical and timely manner. You must also be happy working on a 12 month fixed term contract for £25,000. If you have previous experience working in a PR company or using Exchequer that will also be a bonus.
