Interim Financial Controller

Interim Financial Controller required for a leading Multi Academy Trust.

Our client is leading Multi Academy Trust that has a number of schools within the group. They are growing and are looking for support within financial accounts.


Your new role
We are looking for an Interim Financial Controller to be a key partner for to the Director of Finance for a period of 3 months and lead all aspects of accounting for the academy across the various schools and colleges. You will be focused on maintaining and developing accounting practices and procedures across the organisation and leading the finance teams. This is a crucial time for the trust as they approach year end audit.You will be responsible for financial, operational, internal controls audits and ad hoc projects & investigations.

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally have an ACA qualification and audit background. You must be a strong leader and communicator. You'll have the ability to hit the ground running quickly. As well as the technical skills, you'll be a confident communicator - able to share key information both up and down the trust highlighting risks and spotting opportunities in advance. You'll be a strong leader and be able to motivate and develop your team to deliver their goals
