Finance Analyst, Watford £40,000 - £45,000 plus benefits Our client, an entrepreneurial and innovative employer with a track record of looking after their staff, is looking to source a highly motivated and driven individual to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical individual with a keen eye for detail to join a forward-thinking business in a role that has real scope to develop. Key responsibilities include: Working with internal teams to deliver margin improvements Recommending system and process improvements to encourage cost reductions and drive performance Challenging costs and reviewing margins to make strategic improvements Working with the reporting team to provide variance analysis on P&L results Comparing month end results to the forecast and ensuring that accruals have been raised as appropriate Developing and preparing month end packs Preparing budgets and forecasts for various projects Working with both finance and non-finance colleagues to ensure best practice is upheld at all times Ad-hoc projects as required The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Accountant (however those who are QBE with sufficient experience in the above will also be considered) with demonstrable experience in a fast-paced role. Whilst there is minimal transactional processing involved in this role, experience of this would be advantageous. You will be a confident communicator, able to liaise with and challenge all levels of staff across the business.
