The permanent division of Macildowie are working in partnership with a successful and innovative brand based in Milton Keynes. The organisation are seeking a Part Qualified Assistant Accountant to join their business on a permanent basis. The Assistant Accountant will receive a salary of up to £35000 per annum along with a fantastic benefits package including study support, pension, health care and generous holiday allowance. Duties - Assisting with the completion of monthly prepayment and accruals - Management of company balance sheet reconciliations - Intercompany reconciliations - VAT processing and returns - Completing rebate accounting duties ensuring SLA's and agreements within contracts are adhered to. - Working alongside the Sales Director to discuss the financial impact of rebates within a number of contracts - Completion of monthly journals, reconciliations and ad hoc invoicing duties - Assisting with the communication of financial information to commercial stakeholder on a monthly basis - Assisting with the monthly budgeting and forecasting process - Completing transactional accounts on an ad hoc basis when required Requirements - Applicants must be part qualified within a financial qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) - Candidates will have experience of working with the monthly financial statements - Rebates experience is highly desired but not essential - Candidates must have a strong level of Excel being able to complete V Lookups and Pivot Tables - All applicants must have a strong level of communication both through written and verbal methods Salary and Benefits The Assistant Accountant will receive a salary of up to £30000 - £35000 per annum along with a fantastic benefits package including full study support, pension, health care and an ad hoc benefits package with discounts and gym membership Macildowie is a specialist recruitment consultancy with a rich history of enhancing the careers of professionals across the Midlands and the Northern Home Counties.
