Incredible Accounts Payable opportunity working within an exciting leading global events organisation within an amazing team and absolutely stunning offices, based in Central London This role requires an ambitious and hardworking Accounts Payable Clerk with at least 3 years' experience within a similar role. You will work to input invoices generated from events happening all over the world, so experience of working within multi-currency environments would be an advantage but is by no means essential. Our client offers lots of opportunities for progression for the right candidates, with the right attitude and work ethic and on top of this, offer a fantastic benefits package along with excellent social and charity committees to get involved in Accounts Payable £28,000 Incredible Benefits Package Stunning offices and working environment Central London Key Responsibilities - Inputting invoices daily. - Matching any invoices that need to be matched with a purchase order. - Making sure all invoices are authorised by the appropriate manager. - Process and resolve allocated accounts payable queries, communicating effectively with internal and external clients. - Manging the weekly payment run (BACS, CHAPS, cheques & cash). - Checking and processing staff expenses claim (cash advances, cash return). - Unallocated cash journal transfers and inter-company journals transfers. - Month end reconciliations. - Monthly supplier statement reconciliation. - Processing of Purchase Orders - Company Card expenses reports - Assist during holidays of other members of staff within the team. - To carry out various ad hoc duties as necessary such as creating bespoke reports. Person Specification - A good knowledge of PC packages such as Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ideally if you have knowledge of MS Dynamics AX, that would be great - Experience in accounts payable with a solid work history - Preferably experience within a multi-currency or company environment. - Excellent communication and organisational skills with an excellent attention to detail - Very Customer focused with the ability to communicate with clients of all levels - Ability to solve problems, juggle several tasks and deliver under pressure - Flexible and a real team Player - Ability to work on own initiative - 'Can-do' and proactive attitude
