This well established organisation are offering an exciting opportunity to join the business as an Accounts Payable Clerk on the outskirts of York. Working in a small team, you will be responsible for your section of the ledger and all relevant duties. You will be working in an open office, as part of the wider finance team. This role involves processing invoices, dealing with queries, matching, batching and coding invoices, ledger reconciliation's and processing payments. Regular communication with internal and external contacts will play a key part to the role. My client is seeking a purchase ledger / accounts payable clerk who can join the organisation and hit the ground running. You will have experience of processing high volumes of invoices, resolving queries, will have used a computerised accounting system and have strong knowledge of using Microsoft Excel.
