BSM Group are currently partnered with a leading Asset Manager based in Guildford on the recruitment of a Compliance Analyst to help provide support to the Legal and Compliance function. The role will provide the incumbent with the opportunity to work alongside the COO, Head of Legal and Compliance and also with Fund and Portfolio managers. Duties: Perform Compliance Monitoring Preparation of monthly written report detailing the status of monitoring, issues identified and remedial action recommended. Assist with planning and execution of internal thematic reviews Due diligence reviews of Third Party outsourced providers Conduct review, investigation and analysis of breaches, including liaising with internal departments and 3rd party administrators. Ensure all incidents are recorded as appropriate Analysis of the impact and implementation of new regulatory rules and guidelines. Providing general support to the Head of Compliance & Legal and Chief Operating Officer Requirements Experience of working in Compliance and Financial Crime in the finance industry, preferably in Asset Management Team player with a positive, results orientated approach; Communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively - both written and verbally at all levels, including drafting ability. Ability to demonstrate tact and diplomacy when coping with difficult situations; Good numeracy skills, including some accounting knowledge.
