Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a reputable business in Crewe who are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their fast-paced finance department. This role will focus heavily on non-current assets and leases, and will provide a strong support function for the Assistant Financial Controller. The Assistant Management Accountant will carry out the following: Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register & ownership of PPE Controls Reconciliation of balance sheet controls surrounding supplier payments, costs & recharges Support financial accountant with IFRS16 calculations & data checks Ownership of property system/database Ownership and reconciliation of store Licensed agreements Ownership of property costs within P&L (Rent, Rates, Repairs) Support operations to provide information regarding property risks & opportunities Reporting to business of upcoming rent reviews to be prioritised Ownership of logistics cost centre The successful Assistant Management Accountant will have the following: High attention to Detail Highly organised & methodical Experience in reconciliations Strong Excel Skill Studying CIMA/ACA/ACCA (QBE considered) Ability to build cross functional relationships Experience of JDE/Oracle would be advantageous but not compulsory Experience of Bluebox/property systems would be advantageous but no compulsory Comfortable with prioritising multiple tasks and making accurate assumptions when required Ability to work with minimal supervision If you are interested in the above position and feel your experience matches the criteria please apply now for immediate consideration.
