Your new employer A leading manufacturing business which have been operating for 100 years are seeking an experienced Financial Controller due to growth and succession planning. The organisation operates internationally and has firmly established themselves as market leader in their sector. This is a newly created role, due to growth, and operates across all UK and other global subsidiaries. Your role in your new job Reporting to Group Finance, you will work in an autonomous and varied role with many "value adding" aspects. Leading a sizeable team of qualified and transactional finance staff, you will review the month end management accounting processes for UK and Group consolidations; oversee payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable functions; produce statutory accounts managing the audit process; prepare periodic cash flow forecasts; and manage any taxation and VAT related requirements. Your experience and our requirements Full CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualification is essential for this requirement, ideally with manufacturing experience and knowledge of Group structures/consolidations. You will be technically strong with high levels of commercial acumen. Strong staff management and leadership experience is key, with good ability to develop finance teams.
