FRS are currently in the process of recruiting for a Financial Controller for a leading company based in Northampton. Leading the Finance function the successful incumbent will report to the Director and form part of the senior management team with the to help drive the business forward. Duties will include:
• Advising on general financial policy
• Maintaining cash flow projections for the current and future years.
• Keeping analyses of costs and other statistical records.
• Preparing forecasts for the future financial performance
• Providing modelling for specific projects as requested.
• Management of Finance function and staff.
• Preparation and production of Management Accounts
• Cashflow forecasting
• KPI Analysis
• Financial reporting - closing of year end
• Providing support and advice to the accounting team
• Monthly and yearly budgets
• Attending the monthly meeting regarding the business
• Ensuring compliance with regulations for VAT. The successful candidate will have previous experience covering the following, and ideally a relevant accounting qualification:
• Experience of Developing and managing a team
