Reed Finance are currently sourcing candidates for an academy trust to join them in the position of Financial Controller. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will take ownership of reporting and all-round finance management. You will liaise across finance and the organisation to ensure best practice and be the point of contact for the organisation both internally & externally. Key
responsibilities:
ensuring all regulatory requirements are met, budgeting and forecasting, team management, preparation of reporting and annual accounts and driving the implementation management of local control processes; develop and recommend improved reporting processes in all areas of finance. The role would ideally suit someone with a minimum of 4 years post qualified experience specifically in the education sector, however canddiates with similar experience will be considered i.e. NHS, public sector, not-for-profit etc. You will have first rate communication skills, with energy and enthusiasm and will be able to demonstrate that you can get hold of a task and take ownership.
