FINANCIAL REPORTING ACCOUNTANT Salary £38,000 - £42,000

GRIMSBY A vacancy has arisen for a Financial Reporting Accountant for our client, a globally known manufacturing company with an international presence. The role sits with the existing finance team on their site in the Grimsby area and offers free parking, great staff facilities including a popular cafeteria and airy contemporary build offices. THE ROLE: - The role sits as part of an established and cohesive team of finance professionals, many of whom have been with the company for a significant amount of time and working within a strict controls environment THE CANDIDATE: - You are a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant, perhaps working in professional practice and looking for your first entry into industry or you may have already made the break and have maybe 2-3 years industry experience - You have a good knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP, excellent communication, inter-personal and IT skills and have sound knowledge of putting into place financial controls and processes - You have a flexible and adaptable nature, able to prioritise and re-prioritise during the working day and are able to work to deadlines - A proactive approach is essential as is a team playing approach and you have the confidence to challenge and influence effectively - Candidates who are part qualified/finalist level will also be considered THE COMPANY: Our client is a globally known manufacturer with an international presence.
