A large organisation in Fareham, Hampshire is currently looking for an Expenses Clerk to support them on a 10 month fixed term contract. Key responsibilities of the role will include: Processing high volumes of employee expenses in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring all costs are correctly accounted, and following up on overdue claims where necessary; Ensure all transactions are processed in line with the departments KPI's, Sox controls, company policies, and HMRC requirements; Provide ongoing support to all expense users either on a one to one basis or group training sessions; Monitor and follow-up 'My Miles' mileage claims ensuring timely and accurate payment; Production of vendor payments within the financial system, performing appropriate checks and controls, obtaining approvals in line with the approvals matrix, and entering into the banking system as necessary. Applicants will need to be proficient in excel and have previous experience in an accounts environment. Working well in a team is essential with a proactive and committed approach.
