Due to continued growth within their specialist industry, our client is now looking for a Finance Assistant to join the team on a permanent basis, they would however consider appointing the successful candidate straight away if possible. Reporting into the Financial Controller, the Accounts Assistant will be responsible for all purchase ledger and sales ledger activity including bank reconciliations and accounts administration. Additionally, you will be overseeing intercompany transactions and simple spend analysis. You will also have the opportunity to assist the management accountant with various other activities such as month end accounts and yearly audit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background working in accounts or be AAT qualified or similar qualification with experience of accountancy systems and Excel, this will give you an advantage in picking up their bespoke system. You will be a positive person who is happy to do transactional work and assist in more technical finance whilst maintaining high levels of professionalism.
