Are you a qualified Accountant seeking a role that will give you full responsibility of a companies finances as well as assist in setting the future strategy of the business? If so, then my Client, an innovative Tech business based in Warrington will be keen to meet with you. Bringing the main accounting responsibilities in house from an external provider, this sole-role will cover all the day-to-day financial procedures from transactional accounts to month and year end whilst liaising with external accountants for audit and finalisation. As a growing business you will also take the lead in identifying the most appropriate accounting package for the business and assisting with its implementation. Daily duties to include:
• Day to day accounting procedures to include all transactional accounting
• Credit control
• Identifying potential risks to the business
• Providing regular financial information to company directors
• Forecasting and budgeting
• Pricing and all banking duties
• System implementation This role will give the successful applicant an opportunity to take ownership of a companies finance and effect senior level business decisions on the future of the organisation. To be suitable, you will hold a recognised accountancy qualification with ACCA, CIMA or ACA and be able to show practical experience of managing a companys finances. You will have a "sleeves rolled up" attitude, showing willingness to perform all financial procedures ranging from simple processing and chasing of debt to setting financial strategy and liaising at senior stakeholder level.
