Assistant Accountant - Bingham - £25,000 Are you an experienced Assistant Accountant, who has worked in the Manufacturing industry? Do you want to work closely with a Head of Finance, gain mentoring and development with a view to progression? If so, Macildowie are currently working with an international business, with a strong market position in a niche industry. So what is the job? Firstly, as this is an SME environment, you will sit in a broad finance role. You'll get exposure to the full end to end finance process, taking key responsibilities for delivering weekly cash flow forecasts upto group, you'll take responsibility for stock management, working with the business to accurately report movements and margins. Other responsibilities include: - Taking Accounts to Trial Balance Reconciliation of the Nominal Ledger Supporting the production of Monthly Management Accounts. Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process Production of P&L and Balance Sheet, with supporting commentary and analysis. Reconciling company bank accounts, processing card payments, managing payroll and processing Purchase Ledger Invoices. This is a hands on finance role, which will give you a deep understanding of the business. It's also a role which requires you to be out in the business. You will be liaising with all levels of the business to understand their functions and departmental drivers. So who are you? You'll have ambitions to move into bigger roles in the future, but recognise that you need to develop over the next 2-3 years before being ready to do so.
