Anderson Knight are recruiting a Senior Tax Accountant based in the Stirling area for a huge client that has a turnover in the billions. This position will play a fundamental part within the Tax division. Our client has seen huge success in recent years and has recently expanded throughout the UK. They are searching for a hands on Tax Accountant who can perform well under pressure. The main purpose of the role is to ensure accurate recording, reporting and full compliance with all tax regulations within the overall group and to provide advice and guidance to the business across all heads of tax The main responsibilities the Senior Tax Accountant position entails are: Provide clear, concise summary reports and updates to Senior Management Support Group tax as required on the review of tax for acquisitions Review and maintain standing operating procedures for all tax related work Work closely with colleagues across the business and build solid relationships to facilitate growth in role Act as the main point of contact for all heads of tax and coordinate external support where required The ideal candidate will possess the following: Fully Qualified Accountant (CA/ACCA/CIMA) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to meet tight financial deadlines Excellent problem solving skills Sound knowledge of excel including pivot tables In return, my client offers a defined career path due to the large size of the finance team.
