Company Accountant North Somercotes, Louth £DOE We are looking for a suitably qualified Accountant / Financial Controller to join the friendly team of our successful, privately owned, group of holiday parks in Lincolnshire. This is a great opportunity to be an integral part of the management team, reporting to the Directors and Operations Manager of this prestigious organisation. The Company Accountant will be responsible for managing and delivering the financial control and accounting of the business. You will prepare monthly, quarterly and annual accounts, review budgets, and contribute to the strategic planning of the business as required. Responsibilities:
Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts Contribute to the preparation and review of annual budgets Oversee all financial administration of the company Payment of monthly salaries and weekly wages, including PAYE and Pensions Oversee the generation of monthly invoices for residential units on all parks for rents and electricity Oversee sales and purchase ledger activity Make payments to suppliers via BACS / Cheque following Director's authorisation Ensure all cash and bank transactions are posted to ledgers Reconciliation of bank accounts on a monthly basis Ensure the Site Sales System (static caravan management) shows accurate and up to date information, entering purchases and sales of caravans Take part in management meetings as required Close liaison with Directors and Operations Manager Personal Specification: ACCA / CIMA / ACA / AAT level 4 qualification or qualified by experience Strong IT Skills including high level of Excel In-depth management accounting experience Excellent communication skills with ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues, clients and suppliers An analytical approach to work High numeracy and sound technical skills Problem-solving skills and initiative Strong attention to detail and an investigative nature Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise The ability to work as part of a team, as well as being capable of working alone If you are currently working as a Company Accountant, Financial Controller, Finance Manager or a Finance Officer this may be a great career move for you.
