We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Semi-Senior Accountant to join our client based in Barford. Our client is a well-established practice with a long history of supporting OMB's and SME's throughout the region who is looking for a Semi-Senior Accountant to join their expanding office.

Salary:
18,000-24,000 Job Type: Permanent - Part-time pro rata role considered Purpose of the role: You will be an integral part of the operations of the firm by providing accounting services to a portfolio of clients. You will report directly to senior management and the business owners and will gain great exposure to clients in a variety of sectors whilst gaining valuable experience with both technical expertise and also client care. Duties and
Responsibilities:
Accounts Preparation up to Manager final review stage for Sole traders, Partnerships, LLPs and Limited companies. VAT returns Tax calculations. Bookkeeping for a variety of owner managed businesses. Continually increasing your personal knowledge through education, training and experience. Additional duties where required in other areas of the practice showing good team spirit with enthusiastic and flexible qualities. The ideal candidate will be qualified to AAT or similar level qualifications with experience working within practice. You will be able to carry out the role duties independently and to the best of your ability. You must have excellent Excel knowledge along with a full understanding and working knowledge of Sage, Xero and Quickbooks. Knowledge of Iris accounting software and experience in Payroll would be an advantage although this is not essential
