Up to £50k Based in Huntingdon and voted Employer of the Year 2018 at the Huntingdonshire Business awards, Education Personnel Management (EPM) is looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, operationally focused individual to join our market leading team as Assistant Director - Payroll & Pensions. This is a perfect opportunity for someone develop their career in a challenging and rewarding role with a successful and rapidly growing company. As Assistant Director - Payroll & Pensions you will report into the Head of Payroll & Pensions, and with your Assistant Director colleague, be responsible for the leadership and management of the payroll and pensions teams, providing an outsourced service to EPM's school, academy and multi-academy trust customers. The Assistant Directors are also charged with constantly improving the efficiency, professionalism and customer service of the organisation's payroll and pensions service. The ideal applicant will have previous experience of leading and managing payroll and pensions teams, as well as the operation of the payroll and pensions systems, within an organisation providing an outsource service to customers. The individual will also have experience in providing account management to customers. They will also be well versed at creating KPIs and targets for their teams, and then managing those teams to work to and achieve those KPIs and targets. What are we looking for? Highly experienced and knowledgeable senior Payroll professional. Confident people manager, with the ability to build and manage high performing teams. Experienced in constantly reviewing and improving systems and processes. Great communication skills and ability to work with team members and stakeholders at all levels Excellent customer service and account management skills, with the ability to work to tight customer deadlines.
