Job description: We currently have a new opportunity available for an experience Investment Risk Oversight Manager to join a global leading asset management organisation on a permanent basis. The purpose of the role is to implement the risk management framework across the firm's Private Markets & Real Estate products. The role can be based either in Edinburgh or London.
Responsibilities:
Work with the investment teams and Fund Governance to ensure clarity of fund objective and strategy and that strong tripartite agreements are in place, underpinning the investment risk management framework across Private Markets and Real Estate funds Collate all relevant KRI information in order to provide in depth quantitative and qualitative analysis across all funds in scope Provide robust oversight and challenge in the identification of all risk issues, tracking to resolution Provide detailed reporting of fund level risks where appropriate Provide summary level reporting across product sets to all relevant committees and boards Build strong trusted relationships with key stakeholders Provide detailed risk reporting to first line teams to support their assessment of risk, performance and investment process Regular engagement/collaboration with other teams to support new product developments Essential: Good undergraduate degree Experience in the asset management industry, specifically in Private Markets / Real Estate funds Strong knowledge and interpretation of regulations related to investment risk and liquidity risk management, particularly AIFMD Good knowledge of Private Markets / Real Estate industry Good understanding of KRIs relevant to Private Markets / Real Estate funds Strong communicator and report writing skills Good Excel / PowerPoint skills Excellent report writing skills Building strong positive relationships across stakeholders Desirable: Relevant professional qualifications - IMC/CFA/ FRM/PRM advantageous Job reference: 11913 To apply for this vacancy applicants must be eligible to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006.
