QA Compliance Technician Amersham £36,000 - £40,000 42.5 hours per week 6 months FTC QA Compliance Technician (6m contract) Department : Risk/QA Reporting Lines : Reports to the Quality Assurance Manager. Job Purpose Working in the Quality Assurance team your role will be to manage the QA, safety and compliance of a key Supplier of products. You will need to ensure that product technical files are complete and maintained as appropriate. You will also manage re-shipment approvals. The role will need to deal with external suppliers, labs and internal departments. You must also hold a full UK driving license with a minimum of one year's driving experience. Responsibilities Assist with the QA strategy for the Supplier products; Critical path management to ensure shipment dates are met. Managing approval of pre-shipment inspection reports and necessary corrective actions. Product technical file management; collation and approval of key documentation. Ensuring test reports are valid within the set criteria. Where necessary; Conduct Design Reviews & Risk Assessments identify potential quality and safety risk and are accurately documented and appropriately communicated. Support the QA Manager with the high risk products through product reviews and technical file maintenance. Support internal teams by providing advice on the quality, safety & compliance. Communication with suppliers in a timely, appropriate & professional manner. Experience Technical QA or engineering qualification and a minimum of 5 years experience Previous experience in critical path management Good general understanding of the wider retail industry and the production processes involved. Skills Computer literate with intermediate knowledge in MS Word, Excel & Access. Ability to work with and protect confidential information. Logical thinker with ability to analyse numerical and written data. Strong investigative skills with ability to identify risk and implement effective solutions. Strong organisational skills and time management to achieve effect use of time and resources Excellent written and verbal communication skills to ensure quality communication and information are provided to all levels of management.
