Project Accountant We have an exciting new opportunity which has arisen to join a leading tech company as a Project Accountant on a permanent basis. This role is responsible for monthly accounting, managing and analysing data and P&L project reporting We are looking for a pro-active, ambitious and enthusiastic Project Accountant to be part of this growing and successful team. The responsibilities of the Project Accountant will be as follows:
• Monthly accounting for revenues and costs of cloud solutions projects
• Monthly accounting for mobile revenues and costs
• P&L project reporting within monthly analysis schedules
• Support margin improvement initiatives across the business
• Identification of P&L risks and opportunities
• Hands-on accounting, reporting and control role which will involve use of our SAP B1 accounting system
• Ownership and management of balance sheet items relating to revenue and COS
• Offering demonstrable knowledge and/or ability to manage, analyse and interpret large volumes of data into meaningful information (e.g. use of data analytics or presentation tools such as Power BI, Cognos, Sharperlight) Essential attributes:
• ACA/ACCA qualified
• Ability to understand, present and explain financial results to non-financial colleagues
• Confidence and gravitas to challenge the status quo

• Previously successful, ambitious and proactive
• Technical financial knowledge of maintaining controls and accounting for projects
• Experience in an IT, Outsourcing or other similar environment in a technology industry would be helpful
• Tech-savvy. Completely at ease with email, instant messaging, texting, and the Microsoft Office suite
• Honest, trustworthy and someone who exudes integrity
• Accurate and precise
• Professional with inter personal skills, excellent communication skills and proven customer facing skills
