CMA Recruitment Group is currently working exclusively with a growing organisation based close to Ringwood, Hampshire, with the requirement to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk, on a contract basis. The organisation is currently implementing a new accounting system, hence this contract requirement, which is expected to last for one year. Working in a small finance team and reporting into the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end purchase ledger process. This includes ensuring all invoices are authorised and matched to purchase orders in addition to processing the supplier payment run. You will also be required to assist with other ad hoc accounting tasks where necessary. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that offers fantastic benefits including a lunchtime finish on a Friday. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a similar position. An AAT or equivalent qualification is not essential although experience using an ERP system is beneficial.
