Talentedge are working exclusively with a VC backed eCommerce startup who are in exceptional high growth phase. Following a successful Series A last year, they are in the midst of a larger Series B with interested parties coming from high profile sector investors. As Financial Controller, you'll report into a very hands-off CFO/COO, allowing you to have complete ownership of the day to day finance function. You'll be a real high flyer, someone with a progressive career to date who is looking to take the next step (possibly and preferably up) in your career, very much a problem solver and process improver. Key responsibilities to include:
• Monthly management accounts preparation with commentary, analysis and presentation to the board
• Statutory and tax reporting
• Budgeting, forecasting and long range planning
• Supporting CFO on future commercial initiatives including fund raising
• Business partnering with Heads of Sales, Marketing & Product
• Continually improving internal processes and controls
• Line manage a Finance Assistant who is responsible for transactional areas - AP/AR/Credit control Profile:
• Qualified - ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Startup/SME company experience in a broad role
• Experience with Xero or NetSuite would be highly beneficial
