A Harrogate based online retailer are looking for a Financial Accountant to join their hard-working group of individuals. You will report into the Finance Manager along with two other members of the finance team. This is an existing role but it offers a real opportunity for the right person to mould and shape it as they see fit.

Responsibilities:
Maintaining the purchase ledger (multi-currency) Timely posting of all bank transactions Ensure accurate cut off for month end and preparation of monthly journals Preparation of the month end file and analysis Intercompany reconciliations You will also support the Finance Manager with: Ownership of key balance sheet areas including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Bank and Cash Business Partnering - Key liaison between finance and budget holders, ownership of cost centre reporting and identifying opportunities for cost savings Expected knowledge and skills: Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage workload accordingly Adaptable and flexible approach IT literate, including an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Lookups, Pivots, Sumifs) Confident in processing large volumes of financial data Part qualified ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
