Redhill or Leeds Contract: 3 Months The Role The role will be based in Redhill or Leeds working with the finance team to review billing practices over a period. This position would be responsible for carrying out excel calculations to assess if the billing was done correctly compared to fee agreements and contracts in place with clients. You will provide support to other team members in the collation of requirements, the preparation and checking of excel data ensuring all team deadlines are met. Performance Objectives: Excellence To work closely with the finance team to ensure that the billing rates were accurate compared to the contracts in place. To ensure that the invoices raised were calculated correctly and for the correct time period. To ensure that where indexation increases were applicable these were calculated correctly and implemented at the correct time. To ensure that project related work was invoiced at the correct rate and the necessary paperwork was in place. To analyse the data and present it in the agreed format within the agreed timescales. People Liaise effectively with the administration teams. Ability to work on own initiative as well as within a team environment Clients Ensure an efficient, professional service is provided to meet all client/members' needs and to promote the brand. Be a point of reference for any queries relating to the calculation and/or follow up actions Financial To provide financial information, advice, and reports as required. To complete weekly timesheets The Requirements Financial experience is preferable but not essential. Computer literate - Excel is essential as well as Word. Good written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisational and project management skills. Strong attention to detail. An enthusiastic team player who is equally comfortable working with a team or alone. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Flexible attitude to work, with ability to prioritise and multi-task. Ability to handle sensitive information in an appropriate manner. There may be requirements to travel between offices.
